Brevard County building permit 26BC17032, dated September 18, 2026, describes the project as new construction of a convenience store and gas station with an additional retail space for a future tenant. The 6,032-square-foot project carries a job value of about $2.46 million and references site plan 21SP00010. The applicant is Michael R. Fischer of P.A.V.C.O. Contracting Group in Melbourne, and the property owner is listed as M & R United Inc of Cocoa.
One detail remains a mystery: no store brand appears anywhere in the permit records, so it is not yet public which chain or operator will run the store. No local newspaper has reported on the project either.
The site carries a Melbourne address, but it sits in the Watersong area familiar to Viera West neighbors, just off one of the corridor's busiest intersections.
