Zen Dumpling Is Coming to The Avenue Viera

Dumplings are coming to The Avenue

Window signage at The Avenue Viera now reserves the former World of Beer space for Zen Dumpling, a Florida restaurant chain known for hand-folded soup dumplings made fresh daily.

The signs are up at 2290 Town Center Ave, across the storefronts numbered 115 to 119. World of Beer closed there on December 31, 2024, after a 15-year run at the center, and the space has sat empty since.

What Zen Dumpling serves

The menu centers on xiaolongbao, the soup-filled dumplings steamed in bamboo baskets, including a truffle pork version the chain treats as its flagship. There are also pan-fried potstickers, steamed dumplings, pan-fried and steamed bao, chili wontons, dan dan noodles, braised beef noodle soup, and boba milk teas. At its other Florida locations, most dumpling orders run about $11 to $16.

Zen Dumpling has five restaurants open in Florida: in Jacksonville, Orlando (Waterford Lakes), Orange Park, Altamonte Springs, and Brandon. Its website lists Melbourne among six locations marked "Coming Soon 2026," alongside Sarasota, Lake Nona, Port Saint Lucie, Fort Myers, and Downtown Orlando.

No opening date yet

Neither the chain nor the center has announced an opening date for the Viera restaurant beyond the 2026 timeframe on the chain's website. The storefront windows invite future customers to join the chain's newsletter for updates. We will update this story when a date is announced.
